Sweet Corn
We usually start planting early verities of sweet corn in late April. We have to wait
until the ground is warm enough for the seed to grow. (About 10 degrees Celsius) We
plant 3 different verities at this time which will allow us to pick corn for about 12
days starting in late July. About 2 weeks later we start to plant our main season
verities. These verities need warmer soil temperatures to grow.
We will plant corn every week to 2 weeks depending on the temperature until the first
of July
